for ships constructed on or after 01-Jul-2014, aminimum oftwo two-way portable radiotelephone apparatus for each fire party forfire-fighter’s communication shall be carried on board. Those two-way portableradiotelephone apparatus shall be of an explosion-proof type or intrinsicallysafe. Ships constructed before 01-Jul-2014 shall comply with there quirementsof this paragraph not later than the first survey after 01-Jul-2018.
