A certificate called a Cargo Ship Safety Equipment Certificate shall be issued after survey to a cargo ship of 500 gross tonnage and over which complies with the relevant requirements of chapters II-1, II-2 and III and any other relevant requirements of SOLAS 1974. A Record of Equipment for the Cargo Ship Safety Equipment Certificate (Form E) shall be permanently attached。

对500总吨及以上的货船，经检验符合1974年SOLAS公约第II-1章、第II-2章、第III章和第V章以及公约任何其他有关要求，应签发《货船设备安全证书》。应永久附有一份《货船设备安全证书的设备记录（格式E）》。
